Our team

The Good Alliance was founded in 2015 by Cat Townsend, who simply wanted to do more work that made a positive difference in the world.

As we’ve grown, that principle has been central to who we are and what we do. Every day our team shows up to work, they know they are going to be doing work that matters. Every quarter we put our heads together as a team to decide how we can make our impact even bigger. The flexible working, training & mentorship opportunities and strategic input are just a bonus. 

All team members are provided with opportunities for training & mentorship.

Team members benefit from doing meaningful work & having the opportunity to input on the strategic direction of the Alliance.

Our clients

Free-spirited, defiant, entrepreneurial – our clients are united by the simple desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Whether creating a worldwide movement to empower women or providing essential support for a desperate few, the world is a better place because of them. And we like to think their lives are better for having us in them.

Our community

We invest a considerable amount of each week to creating free and low-cost resources to support our wider community of changemakers (and aspiring changemakers) to move forward with confidence. 

We also offer 1-1 mentorship to a handful of aspiring social entrepreneurs each year. 

Our Facebook community provides a place to seek support and answers to the many challenges we face as social entrepreneurs.

Our resources provide free and low-cost opportunities for aspiring changemakers to learn and grow.

Individuals who live and work in  developing countries with a low median income have the opportunity to apply for 1-1 mentorship.

We donate a portion of each sale to B1G1 projects that make the world a better place.

The world

As members of B1G1, we invest a portion of every purchase made with us into projects that actively make the world a better place. But ultimately, we believe our largest impact is making it easier for people to do work that makes our positive difference in the world.
